STUDI KASUS PENGELOLAAN PERNAFASAN PADA PASIEN ASMA DENGAN TERAPI NEBULIZER

This writing is a case report that aims to determine the effect of nebulizer therapy in reducing shortness of breath in bronchial asthma sufferers. One of the samples of patients I treated who had asthma problems said that prior to nebulizer therapy, they felt short of breath, if they did heavy work they would immediately feel tired. In contrast, after nebulizer therapy, patients felt fresher when breathing and not breathless. again. Nebulizing is an action by providing evaporation so that the mucus is thin so it is easy to suck it. The nebulizer itself is a tool used to change bronchodilator drugs from liquid form to aerosol particle form, which is very useful when inhaled or collected in the lungs, the effect of nebulizer therapy is to restore the condition of bronchus spasm. Many drugs are used in this therapy, one of which is often used is combiven and ventolin, this drug is in the form of a liquid and then used by inserting it into a nebulizer, then connected to a mask and attached to the asthma sufferer, in a matter of 10-15 minutes after the device is turned on, the patient is required to inhale the drug that has been vaporized earlier. This study uses a case study method by using interviews and direct action to patients who have bronchial asthma. Based on the results obtained by the authors in this study, a nebulizer is a good drug for asthmatics to overcome respiratory problems.
