Abstract

The success rate of CPR is fatal because it can affect a person's life and safety. Cardiac arrest if not treated promptly, and appropriately, can cause death. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is an important determinant in the survival of cardiac arrest victims. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is a method of assistance to restore respiratory and circulatory function in cardiac arrest persons. Correct and quality cardiopulmonary resuscitation and in accordance with applicable SOPs is the key to the effectiveness of cardiac arrest patient assistance because it can reduce the severity, sequelae and provide a better prognosis. Researchers are interested in expanding information on the success rate of cardiopulmonary resuscitation in patients who have suffered cardiac arrest at the Batang Regional General Hospital. This research was conducted by the method of observation with predetermined criteria and score results and EBP (Evidence Based Pracrice) using interviews, medical records, and observations. The research subjects were selected using purposive sampling method based on existing inclusion criteria. Respondents in this study amounted to two respondents where factors that affect the success rate include data in the form of age, gender, comorbidities, and Family Decision Making related to Informed Consent to CPR. In two respondents where respondent 1 was successfully saved by cardiopulmonary resuscitation for 3 cycles with a score of 7 in the category of quite successful and respondent 2 failed to be saved by cardiopulmonary resuscitation for 5 cycles with a score of 3 in the failed category. The success of CPR performed on respondents was influenced by age, sex, comorbidities and family decision making related to informed consent.
