This study design used an observational research design with a crosssectional approach. The number of samples in this study was 154 children, digital scales, KMS books, and height measuring instruments. The results of the fisher exact test showed that there was no relationship between personal hygiene practices and the incidence of wasting with (p value = 0.201) and there was no relationship between environmental sanitation and wasting in children aged 24-60 months at the Patebon II Health Center, Kendal Regency with (p value = 0.458), it is recommended that further research can develop research variables related to direct factors that can influence the incidence of wasting.
