STUDI KASUS PENERAPAN TEKNIK MENGHARDIK PADA KLIEN DENGAN GANGGUAN PERSEPSI SENSORI: HALUSINASI PENDENGARAN DI RSJD Dr.AMINO GONDOHUTOMO

One of the severe mental disorders is Schizophrenia. Schizophrenia is a neurobiological disorder of the brain that causes disturbances in thinking, feeling and difficulty interacting. One type of schizophrenia that is often encountered in society is hallucinations. Hallucinations are a symptom of mental disorders in individuals characterized by changes in sensory perception; perceive false sensations of sight, taste, touch, smell, or hearing. In Indonesia, the incidence of severe mental disorders, one of which is schizophrenia, is 7 per mile and Aceh shows an incidence rate of 9 per mile, which is above the national average value. Causes of hallucinations include metabolic responses to stress, neurochemical disturbances, brain lesions, unconscious attempts to maintain ego and symbolic expression of detached thoughts. Hallucinations are generally treated with drugs that slow the brain's work. Treatment is more complex and it may be necessary to try several things to see what works. For example, if you are diagnosed with an illness such as schizophrenia, you may need a combination of medications, therapy, and other treatments. One of them is by way of the technique of scribbling. Rebuke distraction techniques can reduce hallucinations. Rebuke distraction is an independent action without involving other people. The support of the closest people so that individual abilities are optimally needed by patients to increase self-confidence so that patients are able to solve their own problems without the help of others.
