STUDI KASUS INTERVENSI TERAPI MUSIK TERHADAP PENURUNAN INTENSITAS NYERI PADA IBU POST SECTIO CAESAREA DI WILAYAH KECAMATAN KALIWUNGU

Sectio caesarea is one of terminaon surgery to remove the baby by making incisions or cuts in the skin, abdominal muscles, as well as the mother's womb. Sectio caesarea is generally performed when normal vaginal delivery is not possible or due to medical or non-medical indications (Suririnah, 2012). The incidence of sectio caesarea in RSUD dr. H Sowondo Kendal in 2015 reached 520 out of 913 postpartum mothers. The operation causes changes in the continuity of body tissues due to an incision in the abdomen after sectio caesarearesulting in discomfort and pain. Pain management is done pharmacologically and non-pharmacologically. One of the non-pharmacological pain management efforts is music therapy. The purpose of this case study is to explore the management of pain in post sectio caesarea mothers with music therapy. The author chooses two case study subjects that fit the boundaries of certain criteria. The data obtained were analyzed, compared, compiled systematically and discussed. From the comparison of 4 sources that have been obtained, it is stated that music therapy has the effect of reducing the pain scale of post sectio caesarea. Conclusion, music therapy is one of the implementations of pain with non-pharmacological methods to reduce pain in post sectio caesarea mothers.
