IMPLEMENTASI POLA KONSUMSI AIR KELAPA MUDA DENGAN TEKANAN DARAH IBU HAMIL PRE EKLAMPSIA DI PUSKESMAS CEPIRING KENDAL

Preeclampsia is hypertension that occurs in pregnant women at 20 weeks of gestation or later, characterized by an increase in blood pressure to 140/90 mmHg. The purpose of this study is to determine the implementation of young coconut water consumption patterns on the blood pressure of pregnant women with preeclampsia. The sample for this study consisted of 2 third-trimester pregnant women with preeclampsia. This paper employs an explanatory case study design using a case study approach with the implementation of Evidence Based Practice (EBP) on the respondents. The case study is based on Evidence Based Practice to explore efforts to manage blood pressure in pregnant women with preeclampsia through the consumption of young coconut water. Patients were observed for 14 days. This case study involved providing young coconut water consumption to the respondents and observing their blood pressure twice daily for 14 days. The first respondent experienced a decrease in blood pressure from 168/100 mmHg initially to 159/91 mmHg on the fourth day. The second respondent showed a decrease from 170/103 mmHg to 162/91 mmHg. It is evident that young coconut water for pregnant women with preeclampsia is one effective non-pharmacological technique to assist in lowering blood pressure. Providing young coconut water consumption to pregnant women with preeclampsia can help reduce blood pressure.
