Abstract

Pregnancy complications are important health problems that can lead to increased maternal mortality if left untreated. One of the problems that often threatens pregnancy is premature rupture of membranes (PROM). The World Health Organization (WHO) states that the average global Sectio Caesarea is 5- 15% per 1000 births. Often Post Sectio Caesarea mothers limit their body movements because of surgical wounds so that the wound healing process will be affected. Mobilization will facilitate blood circulation and may soon experience recovery or healing. Descriptive research method with a case study approach on 2 respondents with inclusion and exclusion criteria for Post Sectio Caesarea mothers in the Aisyah Room, Kendal Islamic Hospital in August 2022. The case study was carried out for 7 days, namely the first 3 days were carried out early mobilization nursing actions at the Hospital and then observed for wound healing until the seventh day. The two respondents carried out early mobilization 4 times for 10 minutes. Results: after early mobilization for 3 days for both respondents, a score of 9 was obtained in the wound healing observation table. Conclusion: there is a significant effect on wound healing in Post Sectio Caesarea patients who are mobilized early, namely wound healing becomes faster. Based on the results of this case study, it is hoped that it can become an additional reference in providing actions that can improve the wound healing process, such as the application of Standard Operating Procedures for early mobilization for Post Sectio Caesarea mothers.
