STUDI KASUS PENGELOLAAN BERSIHAN JALAN NAFAS PADA PASIEN ASMA BRONKIAL DENGAN FOKUS INTERVENSI PEMBERIAN NEBULIZER

Clearance of the airway in patients with bronchial asthma is a major problem that always arises, because in general, patients complain of shortness of breath and coughing up phlegm that cannot come out. The purpose of this case study was to determine the benefits of nebulizer therapy on the effectiveness of airway clearance in bronchial asthma patients. The method used is a case study. The subject of this case study is 1 patient who suffers from bronchial asthma with airway clearance problems. With data collection techniques include interviews, observation, physical examination and study documentation. The results of the case study at the assessment stage showed that the patient was 65 years old. On physical examination, the spo2 was 95% and the patient's expression seemed to be panting. On observation of bronchial asthma, it was found that the patient had shortness of breath, cough, wheezing, crackles and sputum that was difficult to expel. Conclusions in patients suffering from bronchial asthma with airway clearance problems by using a nebulizer administration technique can be resolved characterized by shortness of breath subsides and sputum can be issued.
