STUDI KASUS PENGELOLAAN PENURUNAN TEKANAN DARAH PADA LANSIA PENDERITA HIPERTENSI DENGAN TERAPI RENDAM KAKI AIR HANGAT DI DESA WADAS PLANTUNGAN

The elderly people experienced the decrease of body systems, wich one of them has effect on blood pressure. One of the most common health problems experienced by the elderly is in the cardiovascular system is hypertension. Hypertension is a disease characterized by an increase in blood pressure upper than normal. Foot soaking therapy is a complementary therapy that be able make decrease blood presure. The purpose of this study was to determine the difference in blood pressure before and after soaking the foot in warm water therapy in the elderly. The methode that used in this research is descriptive methode with a case study approach to manage blood pressure reduction in hypertension elderly with soaking the foot in warm water therapy. The results of the study by providing a warm water can reduce blood pressure in patients with hypertension.
