IMPLEMENTASI TERAPI MUROTTAL AL-QUR`AN PADA PASIEN HIPERTENSI DITATANAN KELUARGA

Hypertension is an increase in blood pressure which causes symptoms that lead to stroke, coronary heart disease, kidney damage so that hypertension is the main cause of high mortality. Hypertension is a condition where systolic blood pressure is >140 mmHg and diastolic >90 mmHg. Hypertension is the second leading cause of death after stroke in the death population in Indonesia. Hypertension can be treated with two types of therapy, namely pharmacological and non-pharmacological. One of the complementary therapies that can control blood pressure is murottal therapy of the Al-Qur'an Surah Al-Mulk. This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of Murottal Al-Qur'an Surah Al-Mulk Therapy on the Blood Pressure of Hypertensive Elderly in the working area of Patebon 1 Public Health Center Kendal City. This research uses a one group pretest-posttest design. The respondents in this research were 2 elderly people with hypertension. Data were collected using an observation sheet and a mercury sphygmomanimeter. The case study implementation time is 3-4 weeks with a minimum of 3 meetings. The results of the study showed that there was an effect of Al-Qur'an Surah Al-Mulk murottal therapy on the blood pressure of hypertensive elderly people in the Patebon 1 Kendal Community Health Center working area.
