Abstract

Asthma is a disease that narrows the airways so that they have anoverreaction and is characterized by acute inflammation followed by varioussymptoms of shortness of breath and cough. Oxygen is a component that plays avery important role in meeting the body's metabolism by breathing free air everytime you breathe,By breathing every cell of the body gets oxygen and at the sametime releases the products of oxygenation. This study aims to determine thebenefits of oxygenation on shortness ofbreath for people with bronchial asthma. The results of the study after giving oxygenation to asthmatic patients said that theshortness of breath was reduced from the initial breath of 28x/minute, SPO293%to, respiration 22x/minute SPO2 99%. The conclusion from the research that hasbeen carried out is that oxygenation can reduce shortness of breath in asthmaticpatients and has a good effect on meeting oxygen needs in the body.
