STUDI KASUS PENGELOLAAN NYERI PADA LANSIA GOUT ARTHRITIS DENGAN PEMBERIAN KOMPRES HANGAT DENGAN AIR RENDAMAN JAHE DI DESA CEPOKOMULYO GEMUH

Gout is an acute inflammatory disorder characterized by pain due to accumulation of monosodium urate crystals in joints and soft tissues in the body. Non-pharmacological measures for gout sufferers include warm compresses with ginger soaking water. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of warm compresses soaked in ginger in reducing pain scale in the elderly with gout. The number of patients is 1 (one) with the initials Mrs. K, female, 78 years old, resident of Cepokomulyo Village, Gemuh District, Kendal Regency. The results obtained were the pain scale felt by the patient before the implementation was 5 and after the implementation the pain scale decreased to 3 on the 3rd day. It can be concluded that there is an effect of warm compresses soaked in ginger to reduce pain scale in the elderly.
