STUDI KASUS PENGELOLAAN PENURUNAN TEKANAN DARAH PADA PASIEN HIPERTENSI DENGAN PEMBERIAN JUS MENTIMUN DI TATANAN KELUARGA

Hypertension is a health problem that needs attention because of its high prevalence. The incidence of hypertension increases at the age of 55-64 years and is more common in women. Cucumber contains potassium, calcium, and magnesium which have an effect on lowering blood pressure. Research to prove the effect of cucumber juice on lowering blood pressure in patients with hypertension. This case study research used 1 subject with the method before and after administration of cucumber juice managed 5 times. Based on research, giving cucumber juice is proven to be able to reduce blood pressure, at the time of the assessment, blood pressure was carried out with the results of BP: 180/100 mmHg and after managing for 5 times the final BP result was 163/97 mmHg. So it can be concluded that there is a significant effect between cucumber juice and a decrease in blood pressure.
